I've spent 20+ years doing UX research and design for organizations of every size, from Fortune 500 product teams to startups run by two people. Throughout that time, the work has had a consistent theme, I find where things are unclear and clarify them.

Clients have included Principal Financial Group, MURAL, Cornell University, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Estée Lauder, McGraw-Hill, LRN, and MCR Labs.

Day to day I work in Figma, Claude Code, ChatGPT, AI image tools, Obsidian, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

I was born in Canada, grew up in Colorado, and have lived in Chile, the Czech Republic, and London. I'm now based in Brooklyn and Ghent, NY, where I also keep an active studio art practice (louisaarmbrust.com).
